Collected This Week 🗂️ Vol. 16
Everything I've collected this week: My favorite sugar-free rosé, exciting new launches, and books to read this summer
hello, hi!
Today is my boys’ last day of school and we’re out for summer break! Yes, we are out early. Yes, I wouldn’t *mind* if we were in school until Memorial Day weekend (I am a staunch believer that summer break should be Memorial Day - Labor Day, aka the way we had it as kids. Call me old fashioned!) but I’m also so excited for summer with my boys. We have an all-school end of year party this morning and then an end-of-year pool party for my oldest this afternoon. It’s a busy day and should be a perfect summer kickoff! I have an appetite for fun right now (who am I kidding? I always do!) and am looking to fill our summer with playdates, beach days, and ice cream cones. I really can’t tell you how much I’m looking forward to the familiar happiness of summer - familiar from my childhood summers and the summers I’m building for my boys. I will work less, I will get further behind on my to-dos but there’s no trepidation here, let’s dive in summer!
Now, a bit of what I’ve collected around the web and life this week. x
1. An Ode to Bunny Mellon. I saw that D. Porthault reissued their archival print, “Champ de Rêves ~ Field of Dream” in honor of Bunny Mellon and my heart skipped a beat. The motif of white daisies on a field of blue was her favorite print and, as such, the luxury French linen brand is giving a percentage of sales to Oak Spring Garden Foundation for the preservation of her home and gardens. I love a past meets present little bit of folly like this! I’m considering adding a pillow to my bed.
2. A Weekly Summer Sunday Bazaar in Charleston. Every Sunday now through June, American Gardens is hosting a weekly market of local flower farms, artisan food vendors, and live music. See you there!
3. Do We Like Weighted Vests? If you have honest thoughts, I want them! Two girlfriends of mine who treat health and exercise as pivotal but happy parts of their lives have raved and raved to me recently about their weighted vests. Then I saw my workout inspiration mom friend Liz share her discount code and I thought, “I’m in!” For inquiring minds, I screenshotted Liz’s code so I could go back and order later that night - it’s LIZADAMS15 for this vest (it’s the one I got because I like how she said she loves that the vest evenly distributes weight from front to back!). P.S. Then, I saw this and laughed out loud and was so pleased I decided to go for it! Life is too short, we can’t take ourselves too seriously!
4. A New Etsy Shop To Save. A favorite look of mine this time of year is a pareo tied over a swimsuit. Pareos can cost a pretty penny but my secret pareo weapon is, you guessed it, Etsy. You can find really pretty block printed pareos for $10-$15! BlockPrintArtCrafts has so many designs and colors - there’s one for every bathing suit you own!
5. Whatcha Cookin, Good Lookin?! I enjoy following Sabrina Rudin on Instagram - I think she’s funny! I like a lot of her philosophies around food too, “kids are not born craving chicken nuggets. That’s a learned behavior.” So, I’m excited to dive into her brand new cookbook! Her smoothies are some of my favorites I make. (We love chicken tenders in our house AND we love fruits and vegetables!).
6. The Most Well Done Basic but Put Together Styles. I didn’t have to see the new summer collection from HHH to know I’d love it. Here are my favorites:
My #1 favorite dress style from the brand in the cutest red and blue gingham for summer
Floral slipdress - I want to rock more cool-girl slipdresses!
7. I’ll Take a Freezer Full, Please. Call me basic, I won’t mind. Sometimes in the summertime, a frosé just hits! I ordered a handful of bottles of my favorite organic, sugar-free rosé (it’s the only way I can avoid a wine headache) for Memorial Day weekend, so I can blend up this bright and easy frosé recipe. Consider the freezer stocked!
8. Congratulations are in Order! My girlfriend Megan Stokes launched a collection with the beautiful bedding company Look Linen Co yesterday that includes 3 fresh colors for the brand and 3 new exclusive customizable monograms. Y’all know I am absolutely DEVOTED to their Boobie Pillow!
9. It’s PUB DAY!!! Yesterday was the day - Pink Sand Summer is here! Chassity’s debut novel was released yesterday. It is a must-have for your summer beach bag. You’ll fly through it and will be so torn about who our girl, Lucy, should end up with, Jack and Noah.
10. Under $200 Finds. Finds so good you can’t believe the price.
A chic little pink shift dress in dupioni silk
The Annabelle Tote is back and can you believe this print!?
Sound the alarms! Julia Amory has a brand new chic white top that will fly off the shelves. JILLIAN-15 for 15% off
Stripe skort with coordinating boatneck top
11. My British Mom Friend Raves About This. One of my English girlfriends was raving about this 3-1 swim product for kiddos a few weeks ago (apparently the brand is hugely popular in the UK!) so I Googled it and saw it’s available here too. I keep it in our swim bag and it has been perfect!
12. 33 Books Coming Out Summer 2026 Your Need to Know About. Lots of books to bring along on your summer travels are right this way.
13. Weezie Towels Launched their Summer Shop. Their summer shop is full of everything we need - towels, cover-ups (my boys favorites!), and more - to make this summer so much fun in the sun!
14. Do the Brits have More National Treasures than We Do? I thought this was so incredibly cute! I watched it multiple times.
15. Last Week’s Top 5 Best Sellers. You all clicked and shopped for these items more than any others…
The gorgeous french blue + tangerine skirt I wore on my birthday
The most purchased item from my Mother’s Day gift guide - I hope so many of you are feeling relaxed with this lovely item!
The wrap sandals I wear at some point of everyday
The sculpting swimsuit I swear by in the cutest summertime print ever!! It’s like spanx for swim. (code JILLIAN15 for 15% off)
Another skirt! I want to wear this to a summer picnic or backyard bbq.
xx Jillian
