Can you believe it’s June? We leave for our first trip of the summer tomorrow and, while I would like to be more packed than I am at this moment, I could burst with anticipation. We are going to Sea Island for just shy of a week and it will be my boys’ first time there. My excitement level is high because it’s a place that is so special to me - my grandparents retired there from Atlanta when I was little so I was given the most incredible gift of getting to visit my grandparents in the most incredible place. I played chess with my Granddaddy and collected sanddollars with my Grandma Peggy. As a kid, old Sea Island was some kind of wonderful. “New” (it’s not so new anymore) Sea Island is also special so I’m thrilled to go and watch my cousin say “I do!” I hope you all have a fun June week ahead too!

My Boys Needed New Shoes for Summer! I picked out a few cute, cost-conscious shoes for each boy so now we’re stylin…
Peter: Peter needed easy to put on play shoes that can wear like a sneaker but look cuter!
Henry: Henry needed sandals in a big way. We have these tried and true sandals in other sizes so I ordered them again in his size because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
Rowan: Rowan needed a fresh pair of sneakers because his are beat up after months of wear. These are decidedly less cost-conscious but he loves them and they wear well for ages so I bought the brand again.

A New-to-Me Artist and Textile Designer. Last year, for my birthday, my best friend commissioned Jordan Connelly to paint a painting of the two of us sitting on our favorite sea wall. I cherish it. I wasn’t previously familiar with the artist but learned that she is Charleston-based. Well, I so pleasantly had the opportunity of meeting Jordan in-person recently. I then subsequently did a deep dive on just how talented she is! She has her commissions, fine art, and prints and then she also does bedding, wallpaper, textiles, pillows, stationery, and even more. Her bedding collection is on the newer side and so spirited and happy! She is also just a gem of a person with an adorable family to boot. P.S. Aren’t these two shells so pretty - one, two.

I’ve shared these before but I’m back again because I just got the new Nantucket Blue and Strawberry colors/prints from Sally’s Splash and I love them. Completely wipeable but elevated looking placemats should have a home at everyone’s summer table. They make kids feel special when at the table!
A New Shopping Destination for Gifting. Perhaps one of the most beautiful people on the planet, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, created a lovely little brand called Mémoire. I spotted it recently when someone shared a product from it on Instagram and clicked over, intrigued. It is all modern heirlooms, candles, stationery, leather goods, pretty boxes, and the like. I think the refillable leather notebooks are the standout product for me and would make for such a thoughtful gift.

Before Schedules, There was Summer! This was a title that admittedly drew me in instantly on Instagram. They got me because I went on to pick out some super cute activewear for my boys too. The product came and it’s all breathable and easy (to quote my boys exactly, “we like stretchy soft clothes”). I got:
OMG, the cutest retro colorblock shorts! I ordered them for Peter before they completely sold out (they are almost gone!).
I also ordered all 3 boys the Ballpark Stripe Shirt in red + white and navy + white because if they are going to be wearing and loving performancewear, then you know I’m putting them in a version with a classic stripe on it!
