Hello, hi!
I got back from London + Mallorca late last night and am organizing my thoughts around everything so I can share some fun but worthwhile content with you all. Both were marvelous in completely different ways. It feels like so many Americans are going to Mallorca this summer - a complete surprise to me! It was dreamy, dreamy, dreamy. I kept saying, “I can’t believe my body is here. I am here!” I’m such a creature that likes to return to the same places over and over again (case in point, my last 4 trips to Europe were to London or included London and my next trip is too!) so I’m already thinking about a Mallorca visit again with Edwin one day. London too, woosh, does that city have my heart.

Two Very Different Cultural Things to Do in London. Arguably two of England’s three most influential leaders of the last 100 years have exhibits in London right now: Queen Elizabeth II: Her Life in Style at Buckingham Palace and Winston Churchill: The Painter at The Wallace Collection (I’d round out the top three with Margaret Thatcher). Both of these are heaven for history + art lovers.
We went to Churchill’s exhibit – the first showcase of his art since his death – and I was struck by what a truly remarkable brain it takes to be so gifted in such different things, diplomacy + leadership and painting. The exhibit was quick and delightful, full of history and art. (We did not book tickets ahead of time and there wasn’t a need to).
On the other hand, if you can get tickets to the Queen’s fashion exhibit, then consider yourself so lucky! It was meant to last just a few months but it has been such a wild success that it has been extended through April of next year and is essentially completely sold out through 2026 already. Get tickets if you find yourself in London and you can!!!
Creamy! Oh la la, the best-selling Landon ballet flat was just released in the yummiest, prettiest cream color. Pairs gorgeously with summer and with saddle browns come fall.
A New Etsy Shop to Save. I discovered the Etsy shop ClayworksByKat through Annika who swears they make her favorite mug for tea and coffee. I’ll tell you what, this is high praise. The shop sells all handmade pottery in the prettiest shapes and colors. Nothing sparks joy in the morning or at the end of the day quite like your own personal cozy mug.
My New Bag Crush. Le Sac Sulpice is making a big case for adding a stripe tote to my closet (a bag type I somehow don’t have. I say “somehow” because it is very me.). I’m liking the idea of leaning into a fall-ish colorway and making it my, dare I say, first purchase of the new season ahead. Should I do it?!
The Sale on Classics You Don’t Want to Miss. Alice Walk’s biggest sale of the year is here - shop up to 60% off their classic signature knits and all-season favorites. Plus, did you see the brand new ice blue colorway of their cotton cardigan? It is flying!
The Pleasure Lists. I found a pretty fun new-to-me Instagram account that aims to bring a bit of pleasure to your feed: The Pleasure Lists. People submit lists of what they find delightful, which are so fun and honest and happy and simple. Proof that it’s the little things! I’m going to write a list! I wish the account posted daily.
An Eat-All-Week Lunch. Thank you Caroline! We have 3 weeks left of summer before school starts and I want them to be easy + yummy ones. This charred cabbage chicken peanut chop that I can batch make for myself on Monday and enjoy all week is getting the highest praise from me.

The Club to be In. I’m talking about the club reading The Calamity Club this summer. It is so good, you guys. I’m reading it on Audible right now and my gosh it lives up to all the hype so far. The two readers of the book are incredible, true talents. If there were Oscars for audiobooks, they would win them. I can’t recommend listening to this book enough!
Pearls for Cool Girls. Pearls aren’t dowdy, anything but! But, I find it interesting how some women don’t love them based on how they perceive them. I’m a pearl lover so I wanted you to know about the jewelry brand Fleuri, by the sister of one of my best friends. Their designs are timeless but modern, classic but cool. And, you know what, they don’t break the bank either. I adore these.
No Influencers. It seems that absolutely everyone is weighing in on the viral “No Influencers” Nantucket sign at one of my favorite antique shops on the island - here, here, here, here, and here to name a few. What do you think about the drama of it all?
You Know What’s an Underrated Gift… A puzzle. I love puzzles as a hostess gift when you can be thoughtful about them or follow a theme. I’m obsessed with puzzles from The New York Puzzle Company because the designs are just super. I eat up the kids ones too, especially the Loré Pemberton puzzle designs because they are so cozy, which is exactly how a puzzle should be.
